Milan Fashion Week: Prada, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta

Monday’s Milan catwalks saw more diverse influences drive brands’ collections but just as was seen from the weekend shows, there was a move towards a more casual feel.

At Prada, slim fitting, layered knitwear came in natural-looking dyes and were cropped high on the waist for a touch of geek chic.

Tomas Maier’s Bottega Veneta show majored on casual and tech-y jackets and blousons before introducing boxy, square cut db jackets and longer-line Teddy-boy-inspired styles, which skimmed the knee.

Knee-length jackets also featured at Alexander McQueen, who used all over marbled affects and jacquard designs along with stonewash shirts for one of the most outré shows of the week so far.
