Miss Sixty has closed its store in Westfield’s shopping centre in Stratford, east London.
The Italian label said the closure last week was “part of a retail relocation and repositioning strategy to more premium or affordable luxury sites”.
Last year Miss Sixty relocated its Carnaby store to South Molton Street and the business will open a new Brompton Road flagship this summer.
In September Miss Sixty opened a shop in Westfield London featuring its new store concept for the first time in the UK. It follows the design concept debuted in Miss Sixty’s flagship in Rome at the end of 2014.
The move is part of the label’s repositioning as a premium brand. In 2014 Italian parent company Sixty Distribution revamped the retail division, upping prices by between 30% and 40% on average, with denim retailing from €120 (£96) to €250 (£201).
