Sales at womenswear etailer Missy Empire leapt to £250,000 over Cyber Weekend, up 250% from £100,000 in the same period the year before.
Over the four-day period from Black Friday (24 November) to Cyber Monday (27 November), it reported a conversion rate of 4.09%.
Missy Empire’s owner, Ash Siddique, attibuted the sales to a stronger product offering. Among the best-selling items were loungewear and fake fur coats.
Siddique said: “We are continuing to improve the user journey, which has resulted in a 10% increase in conversion rate.
“The team is working hard on campaigns and differentiating our product offering from competitors’ – all of these factors have contributed to the brand smashing Black Friday and Cyber Weekend targets.”
The brand said in a statement that it is looking to hit £1m in sales over the next three-week period.
