Moda announces etail focus

Birmingham trade show Moda is introducing a dedicated online retail area at the show from August 2014.

Moda’s organisers said the event is “fully embracing e-commerce” with the introduction of a new seminar and feature area dedicated to online retail. The so-called E-Zone Live is planned to create a “new inspiration hub for e-commerce, combining the best products and services with practical business advice.”

Free seminars and workshops will take place in the stand-out area throughout the three-day show.

Topics including effective web design for fashion retail, online payment solutions, product photography, logistics and fulfilment and returns.

Moda’s organisers said e-commerce has been a growing feature of the trade show’s seminar programme. They cited a recent survey by RAS Publishing which states that 97% of fashion retailers asked said they have set clear targets to increase their online business in 2014.

Moda will return to the NEC, Birmingham between August 10 and 12 2014.
