ITE Moda, the organiser of the middle market womenswear, menswear and footwear Moda shows in Birmingham, has bought contemporary kidswear show Bubble London.
Bubble London was owned by US firm Kidding, which also owns sister show Bubble New York, and launched at London Olympia in January this year.
Bubble London will retain its standalone identity and format. Bubble New York is not included in the sale.
ITE Moda managing director Colette Tebbutt said: "Bubble London is an exciting and already successful event which fits perfectly with our existing exhibitions and publishing portfolio. We already have many years; experience of the childrenswear industry as publishers of CWB [Childrenswear Buyer], and our proven track record of growing and developing trade events for the fashion industry can only benefit the show going forward. As a show Bubble London has already succeeded in bringing a new approach to childrenswear exhibitions in the UK, and it's an approach which we feel is perfectly in tune with the changing demands of the childrenswear market."
Bubble London founders Vanessa Boz and Florence Rolando will continue to work with ITE Moda throughout 2009 to ensure a smooth transition.
The next edition of Bubble London will take place at Olympia 2 in London from January 18-19.
