Moda to launch new area for contemporary womenswear

The mainstream Moda Woman tradeshow in Birmingham will launch an area dedicated to new and niche womenswear labels called Moda Platform at its next edition in August.

Moda said that it had yet to confirm which labels will launch in the women’s Moda Platform area. However it will mirror the format of Moda Menswear, which already has its own Moda Platform sub-show for contemporary brands including Gibson and Without Prejudice.

Moda director Sarah Moody said: “We’ve had a lot of interest from contemporary and niche brands, wanting to come to Moda Woman. After the success of Moda Platform in menswear, we are excited about bringing a similar concept to our womenswear show.”

The next Moda exhibition will run from August 9-11 at the NEC in Birmingham
