Monsoon Accessorize unveils new store concept

Monsoon Accessorize has opened the doors on a new store format, revealing the look simultaneously at Wimbledon’s Centre Court Shopping Centre and Churchill Square Shopping Centre in Brighton.

Ten-year leases were signed with landlord Standard Life Investments on a 4,200 sq ft unit at Centre Court and a 5,460 sq ft unit at Churchill Square.

The units are the first to showcase a new design concept, which features graphic rugs in the brand’s heritage prints, lantern lighting and clean white spaces. Both shops opened in June and offer womenswear, bridal and kidswear, as well as shoes and accessories.

Ed Jenkins, head of UK retail for Standard Life Investments, said: “We’re really excited Monsoon Accessorize has chosen two of our shopping centres to launch their new concept stores”, adding the centres were “the ideal locations to launch a new concept store or expand in the UK market.”

Standard Life Investments was represented by Lunson Mitchenall and Cushman & Wakefield.

Monsoon Accessorize did not respond to requests for comment.
