More women being appointed to company boards, says recruiter

More women are being appointed to the boards of FTSE 350 companies than ever before, according to research by recruitment firm Korn Ferry.

The research found 39% of people appointed to non-executive director positions for the first time last year were women, up from 28% the year before.

In 2007, when Korn Ferry started reporting on non-executive directors, only 22% were women, according to City AM.
