Moss Bros appoints buying director

Moss Bros has appointed Paul Sheldon from Burton as buying director.

Sheldon will join Moss Bros later this month and will have responsibility for buying across the formalwear and casualwear business. Sheldon joins from menswear business Burton, where he was buying director. Sheldon has also previously worked at Next.

Sheldon will take on the role following the appointment to the board of Ciaran McCloskey as group trading director in August. His promotion created the opening for the role of buying director at Moss Bros.

Moss Bros runs the Moss and Cecil Gee chains, as well as franchise stores for Hugo Boss, Canali and Simon Carter.
