Menswear retailer Moss Bros has named Jemima Bird as the company’s new commercial and operations director.
At Moss Bros Bird will be responsible for the label’s 136 retail stores, brand marketing, creative and visual merchandising.
Bird, who has been with the business since February as a strategic brand marketing consultant, will take up her new position with immediate effect.
Bird was previously group marketing director at restaurant group Tragus Group and prior to her role at Tragus, she held the same position at Musgrave Retail Partners and was also brand director at The Co-operative Group.
Moss Bros said the shakeup in management will allow the business to “maximise the opportunities for expansion”.
Brian Brick, chief executive at Moss Bros, said: “As we seek to take Moss Bros to the next stage of our brand development, the time is right to bring a tighter focus to our operational brand delivery; with Jemima we have someone with a track record in delivery.”
