Moss Bros restructures board

Moss Bros has appointed former SRG boss Brian Brick as non-executive director, while founding family member Rowland Gee has stepped down from the Moss Bros board in a management rejig at the menswear chain.

Moss Bros also revealed that non-executive director Robert Marsh is retiring from the Board.

Marsh played a key role in supporting Moss Bros during a period of uncertainty following Baugur's bid proposal for Moss Bros earlier this year.

Marsh retires with immediate effect and Gee's resignation will come into effect from February 22 next year.

Moss Bros has appointed non-executive director Brian Brick, the founder of Specialist Retail Group to the Board. Brick sold SRG in 2005 and joins Moss Bros from September 1, this year.

The company has also appointed Ciaran McCloskey as group trading director. McCloskey is currently director of business development and retailer operations for the Moss division of the business.

Moss Bros has also appointed Altium Capital as corporate brokers and Barclays Bank as its group banker.
