Mr Porter becomes first UK stockist of Google Glass

Mr Porter has become the first third-party stockist of Google Glass in the UK, launching three styles online this week.

The etailer is offering an edited selection of Titanium optical frames, which, together with various add-ons such as a UV lens clip, cost £1,120.

“We are pleased to offer Glass to our tech-savvy customers who are true leaders and innovators in style and lifestyle,” said buying director Toby Bateman. “We pride ourselves on leading the way in delivering the best in service, product, and technology and we are excited to bring Google Glass to our UK customers.”

The products are part of the Glass Explorer Programme - which allows people to use the headsets to help refine the final design ahead of a wider consumer launch - and remain a prototype.
