Mr Porter hires from Oki-ni for deputy style director

Menswear etailer Mr Porter has appointed former Oki-ni fashion director Olie Arnold as deputy style director, effective immediately.

Arnold will assist style director Dan May in the management and development of the business’s fashion team, while taking responsibility for PR and marketing related shoots and the site’s main fashion stories.

In addition to his role as fashion director of premium menswear etailer Oki-ni between September 2011 and December 2012, he was also style editor of Men’s Health from May 2007 to September 2010 and fashion editor of FHM and FHM Collection from August 2000 to August 2006.

He will continue to hold the role of contributing fashion editor at Esquire’s bi-annual Big Black Book magazine.

Arnold studied fashion design at Falmouth University, where he obtained a degree in performance sportswear design.

In April Mr Porter launched a dedicated sportswear mini site, offering of more than 150 products from 25 brands.
