M&S director of clothing logistics exits

Marks & Spencer’s director of clothing, home and multichannel logistics, Adrian Harris, has left the business to become operations director at courier company Yodel.

Harris joined M&S in 2014 as head of logistics for M& and had previously held senior roles at Amazon, Tesco and Home Retail Group. He is understood to have left M&S last month.

Paul Burns, who joined M&S in March as head of clothing and home logistics operations, is covering in the interim as the firm recruits a successor.

Burns was most recently divisional supply chain director at Travis Perkins from October 2014, and was previously general manager for operations at Amazon from February 2013 to October 2014.

A spokeswoman for M&S said: “We would like to thank Adrian for his significant contribution, and he leaves with our best wishes for the future.”
