An expanded partnership with Doddle means online returns from Marks & Spencer can now also be processed at its 280 Simply Food locations.
Customers using Marks & Spencer’s click and collect service, powered by Doddle, can now also return online orders to its Simply Food stores, rather than having to travel to larger M&S department stores.
The technology, which had been trialled at an initial seven locations in 2017, is now available at 280 Simply Food locations around the country, with more planned in the future.
Since implementing the service, feedback from M&S customers has been overwhelmingly positive, the company says. Almost all (97%) claim they would use it again and 85% said it would encourage them to order items online more frequently.
Richard Pugh, head of M&S.com logistics & returns said: “We’ve responded to increasing demand from our customers for more choice and convenience when it comes to collecting and returning their online orders. Providing customers with a consistent customer experience, regardless of which Marks & Spencer store they’re in, is key.”
