Marks & Spencer has promoted Michael Kerr to the permanent role of director of menswear and kidswear.
Kerr has been covering the position on an interim basis since the departure of Scott Fyfe in September last year. He was previously director of home at the company.
Neil Harrison has been promoted to director of home, from his most recent role of head of merchandising for lingerie and beauty. He originally joined M&S on its graduate scheme.
A spokeswoman said the internal promotions support M&S’s commitment to improving its clothing business.
Fyfe, who previously held the role of director of menswear and kidswear at Marks & Spencer, took up the role of chief executive of Country Road Group, the Australian subsidiary of South Africa-based Woolworth Holdings, earlier this year.
