M&S unveils Christmas TV ad

Marks & Spencer has unveiled a preview of its Christmas TV campaign ahead of its customer premier on the M&S website next week.

Starring Rosie Huntington-Whitely, David Gandy and Helena Bonham-Carter, the advert is inspired by fairy tales such as Red Riding Hood, and children’s classics such as Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz.

Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, executive director of marketing and business development, said: “Working with our all British cast, director Johan Renck has created a modern epic where fashion meets fantasy - bringing to life much loved fairy tales with more than a sprinkle of high glamour”.

The full two minute version will be available on the M&S YouTube and social channels from November 4. The ad will air on TV for the first time during the Coronation Street ad break on November 6.

The ad was shot by London-based agency Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.
