Mulberry cancels LFW show

Mulberry has cancelled its catwalk show for London Fashion Week’s February edition as the luxury brand continues to search for a new creative director.

In a statement published yesterday the company said it had “not finalised its creative director search and will therefore exceptionally not stage a catwalk show this February”.

However it would “definitely be participating in London Fashion Week” and will release details in the “near future”.

Previous incumbent Emma Hill left in September after more than five years at the helm.

Her departure came just months after the business issued a profit warning, with the luxury label reporting in June a £10m decline in profits to £26m for the year to March 31, 2013.
