Premium brand and retailer Ted Baker is to collaborate with top US fashion bloggers to launch live styling sessions on its website this week.
The project, called ‘Take On Ted,’ will be a remote-controlled, digitally powered live styling project and is a creative collaboration between the label and a selection of fashion bloggers. It will take place this Friday, November 5, at 6pm GMT on its website.
Each blogger will be given 15 minutes to style two looks from Ted Baker’s autumn 10 collection in a live web broadcast from its London headquarters. Each blogger will control and direct the studio, style the models with a British-themed brief, and communicate the shoot using Twitter.
Ted Baker will then hand the reigns over to the public, who can style their own outfits, which will then be uploaded on to Facebook. To take part, customers must follow @ted_baker on Twitter by November 4. Ted Baker fans can then vote on their favourite look. The look with the most ‘likes’ win a $500 (£310) gift card.
