Etailer My-Wardrobe is merging its London and Nottingham offices, resulting in all but the buying team relocating from the capital.
The 130-mile relocation is due to take place from early next year, with only Carmen Borgonovo and her team remaining in London.
It is not yet known whether there will be any redundancies as a result, but there are 25 members of staff based in London who are affected by the move.
The premium and luxury site said the move was part of “an ongoing process of restructuring”, which has recently seen the redundancies of brand director Leanne O’Shea and art director Ruth Cozens, both of whom were founder members of staff.
Co-founder Andrew Curran said: “The business is going through a restructuring which involves moving some roles from London to Nottingham. Wherever possible we plan to relocate London staff to positions within the Nottingham office, but inevitably some will choose not to move to Nottingham and we will therefore be recruiting new people to rebuild the team as required.”
He added: “As a single site business we will be a far more agile, responsive operation and we will also save some costs as a result”
