Non-executive chairman Iain McDonald said profits at the Australian group for the current financial year were “substantially enhanced,” adding that its strategy of targeting lapsed customers was continuing to prove effective.

Earlier this year, CEO Carl Jackson told Drapers a reduction in promotions and a focus on acquiring quality brands had helped the retailer return to profit after a difficult year in 2015.

MySale and its British counterpart Cocosa are also planning to launch an own-label womenswear brand called London Chic.
