Mystery buyer of Debenhams’ Oxford Street unit revealed

The family office of H&M chairman Stefan Persson is the mystery buyer of Debenhams’ Oxford Street unit, according to reports.

Persson is behind the £400m property deal announced by British Land last week, according to The Sunday Times. British Land did not name the buyer.

Persson has a 28% stake in H&M, which was founded by his father in 1947.
