MyTheresa founders launch footwear venture

The founders of German etailer MyTheresa are set to launch a new luxury footwear platform.

The new website, called MarthaLouisa, will launch in March 2018.

It will stock brands including Saint Laurent, Prada and Gucci as well as contemporary labels Aeyde, Brother Vellies and Vibi Venezia.

MarthaLouisa claims to be the only ecommerce site that focuses on one specific product category.

Founders Susanna and Christoph Botschen sold MyTheresa to US retailer Neiman Marcus Group in 2014 for an undisclosed sum.
