N Brown chief financial officer exits after 11 years

N Brown Group has announced its chief financial officer Dean Moore is to step down from the role after 11 years to pursue other interests.

He will be replaced by Craig Lovelace, currently group chief financial officer for General Healthcare Group (trading as BMI Healthcare), at the turn of the new financial year (April onwards).

N Brown chief executive officer Angela Spindler spoke of Moore’s support during recent leadership transitions and said the business change programme is progressing well. “Our performance is in line with our expectations and now feels like a good time, for all concerned, to make this important change.”

Moore himself added: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at N Brown and being part of the company’s evolution. I would like to thank my team and the board for their support over the last eleven years. I now look forward to exploring other challenges outside of the business.”

In September 2014, N Brown Group hired Peter Moffatt as head of design to oversee the modernisation of its core fashion brands such as womenswear brand Simply Be and menswear brand Jacamo.
