N Brown doubles exceptional cost estimate to £24m

N Brown Group has said exceptional costs for the full year will now cost between £22m and £24m, up from £12m, as future complaints over mis-sold financial services are likely to be higher.

In September the firm said it faced costs of up to £9m after it wrongly calculated compensation after complaints from customers in its financial services division.

The group has now said those costs will be higher, Reuters reported, and total exceptional costs will come to between £22m and £24m.
