Natalie Massenet to invest in fashion start-ups

Founder of Net-a-Porter Dame Natalie Massenet has teamed up with a New York-based venture capitalist to invest in online fashion start-ups.

Massenet, who founded Net-a-Porter in 2000 and left the business in September 2015, has joined up with partner at 14W Nick Brown for new business Imaginary Ventures, The Sunday Times has reported.

14W has funded fashion brands including Reformation in the past.

Last month Massenet joined Farfetch as non-executive co-chairman. She is also chairman of the British Fashion Council.
