Womenswear brand Needle & Thread has opened an ecommerce site, nine months after the business was rescued from administration.
Needleandthread.com carries the full range of its signature embellished dresses, priced from £130 to £450, as well as a small selection of skirts, jackets and coats.
It comes after the London-based brand secured funding in January from an undisclosed backer, allowing it to continue trading after falling into administration a week earlier.
Creative director Hannah Coffin said: “We are extremely excited to unveil our beautiful new website, where we can now begin to build relationships with our customers and offer them direct access to our latest collections.”
Needle & Thread’s stockists include Harrods and Liberty in London, Brown Thomas in Dublin, Asos.com, Net-a-Porter, Zalando, Holt Renfrew in Canada and Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom in the US.
Coffin, who was womenswear design director at All Saints for eight years until 2012 and previously worked at Karen Millen, set up Needle & Thread with her former husband and ex-All Saints chief executive Stephen Craig in April 2013. Craig is no longer involved in the business.
