Net-a-Porter appoints Colin McDowell as creative director-at-large

Designer etailer Net-a-Porter has appointed Colin McDowell to the newly created role of creative director-at-large.

McDowell, an international fashion commentator, will work alongside Net-a-Porter's editor Claudia Plant to drive the development of video content, which will form part of the site's cross platform online magazine.

Net-a-Porter's online magazine Notes Weekly attracts 1.25 million visitors every month.

Natalie Massenet, chairman and founder of Net-a-Porter, said: "We are thrilled to welcome such a huge talent to our fabulous editorial team. With Colin on board, we hope to continue to inspire our customers and potential customers with fantastic, dynamic content as we continue to grow and move in new directions."
