Net-a-Porter poaches global buying director from Bergdorf Goodman

Net-a-Porter has appointed Elizabeth von der Goltz as global buying director, joining from her role as senior vice president general merchandise manager at Bergdorf Goodman in New York.

She will start in mid-summer, based in the Yoox Net-a-Porter Group’s London headquarters, and will report to Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter president Alison Loehnis and Net-a-Porter managing director Matthew Woolsey.

Von der Goltz spent 14 years at Bergdorf Goodman, rising to her most recent position where she oversaw fine apparel, designer sportswear, contemporary, jewellery and beauty.

Loehnis praised her “exceptional eye for product” and “deep and abiding understanding of the international luxury customer”, as well as a proven track record in growth and strong relationships with brands.
