Net-a-Porter chief executive to leave

Net-a-porter chief executive Sven Gaede is leaving the company.

Gaede has resigned from the company for personal reasons less than six months after joining as chief executive, according to Net-a-Porter. He joined the e-tailer in June from Dunhill.

The company said that Gaede had made "several valuable contributions in the areas of merchandising, strategy and marketing", but added that he had tendered his resignation.

It is understood that chairman and founder Natalie Massenet and chief operating officer Mark Sebba will jointly share Gaede’s responsibilities until a successor is appointed.
