US sportswear business New Balance will open its first UK store in a prime location, on London’s Oxford Street.
The retailer is understood to have agreed a 10-year lease on the 14,000 sq ft building at 287-291 on the south side of Oxford Street, which is set over three floors and currently occupied by Aviva Investors, according to Property Week.
The deal is reportedly in solicitors’ hands and due to complete in the next week, and the store is expected to open in 2017.
New Balance currently has concessions in Office and Urban Outfitters, but no UK stores.
