New brand boss to overhaul HoF

House of Fraser aims to rejuvenate its image after appointing former Marks & Spencer head of external marketing Matt Chambers to the new role of brand director.

He will be responsible for building the HoF brand through marketing, customer communications and in-store visuals, and will report directly to chief executive John King.

King said Chambers would be invaluable in "helping us look at how we present the House of Fraser brand" both in stores and externally.
