New CEO and chairman for virtual fitting service

London-based virtual fitting room business Fits.Me has reshuffled its top team as it prepares for international expansion.

Chief operating officer Stuart Simms has been promoted to chief executive, replacing James Gambrell, who is moving into the newly created role of executive chairman with immediate effect.

Fits.Me was acquired by Japanese ecommerce marketplace Rakuten in July for an undisclosed sum.

The business, which was founded in Estonia in 2010 before relocating to London two years later, said the changes will fast-track plans to expand into North America and Asia, but did not provide a timeline.
