New footwear retailers step into Banbridge

Outlet shopping centre The Boulevard, based in Banbridge Northern Ireland, will opens its doors to Adidas, Kurt Geiger and Asics this summer, following a major relaunch by its owners.

The Boulevard, formerly called The Outlet Banbridge, underwent a rebrand last month.

Adidas will take the largest store at 7,433 sq ft, with the opening scheduled for June. Asics is set to open a 2,163 sq ft store in early May. Kurt Geiger will open in July, having taken a 1,287 sq ft space. These new stores represent a total investment of nearly £1m.

Lotus Property asset and property management director Alastair Coulson said: “It has been a successful few months for The Boulevard, as we have seen our vision for the scheme come to life through the relaunch. The arrival of three big new brands really cements the centre’s position as Northern Ireland’s premier outlet shopping destination and represents the successful future we have been planning.”
