New John Lewis store opens in Cambridge

A new John Lewis store featuring £12.5 million worth of stock and 350,000 product lines has today opened in in Cambridge's Grand Arcade development.

The store measures 280,000 sq ft and occupies three floors and a basement, with womenswear on the first floor and men's and childrenswear in the basement.

Womenswear brands include Betty Barclay, Coast, Fenn Wright Manson, French Connection, Noa Noa and Seven for all Mankind.

Menswear includes ranges from Ben Sherman, Gant, Henri Lloyd, Ted Baker and Ungaro.

There are also footwear departments for both men and women, offering brands such Dune, Converse, Rockport, Ecco and Nine West.

The store is three times larger than the Robert Sayle shop that had been operating for three years in temporary premises.
