The retailer also launched Denim Wardrobe by Trilogy at its Bluewater store last week, which it said “has proved an instant hit” with customers.

It is continuing to revamp its beauty halls, adding Marc Jacobs, Urban Decay, Jo Malone and La Mer counters to the Cribbs Causeway store.

Overall sales at the department store group rose 7.2% to £102.8m in the week to 29 October.

  • Is it 'like for like' comparison Drapers? Otherwise 4% growth with new included is likely to mean little or no 'like for like' growth. JL has less than 50 stores and not all sell fashion.
