New Look bid talk at Lily Allen launch

New Look unveiled its Lily Allen tie-up range, called Lily Loves on Tuesday night, as its private equity owners arranged their next board meeting in the background. As the crowd listened to Allen perform at the London Marble Arch store, backers and management were scheduling to meet in two weeks' time, when the first bids are expected. New Look posted sales of more than £1 billion last year and at least eight parties, believed to include KKR, Texas Pacific and Cinven are circling. Management expect the deal to be sewn up in six to eight weeks.
