New Look has added its entire menswear and men’s accessories offer to its transactional website.
The men’s area of the website at www.newlook.co.uk features a “most Wanted” tool to promote popular items and a “Get the Look” zone which picks out four trends.
New Look launched its website at the end of 2007. Initially it sold it women’s range only. Teenwear was added in September.
The site and the new menswear area was developed by e-inbusiness.
Nigel Corp, chief operating officer of e-inbusiness, said: “Following on from the successful launch of the teens department in September, it’s great to see the new menswear area of the site go live. Shopping for clothes online is no longer focused on women. Men are now catching up with an increasing number of male customers choosing to buy their clothes on the internet. With research this year from management consultants Accenture revealing that over 56% of men prefer shopping online, online retailers cannot afford to ignore this increasing group of consumers.”
