New M&S chairman mooted

Marks & Spencer has reportedly approached former ITV chairman Archie Norman to take on the same role at the high street retailer.

M&S wants to replace outgoing chairman Robert Swannell as early as July, The Mail on Sunday has reported.

Norman is currently chairman of craft chain Hobbycraft and finance house Lazard. He was also previously director of Target Australia.
