New online shop vows to become the Amazon.com of branded accessories

A new accessories-only website that aims to become the “Amazon.com” of branded fashion accessories will launch next month.

A new accessories-only website that aims to become the “Amazon.com” of branded fashion accessories will launch next month.

AccessoriesStudio.com isset to launch on October 10 and will offer handbags, footwear, belts and jewellery. It targets 18- to 35-year-old women and will compete with the likes of Asos.com, Littlewoods, Oli.co.uk, Ebags.co.uk and Treasurebox.co.uk.

The business has secured start-up backing of £100,000 from private investors and has already signed brands including French Connection, Jocasi, Ollie & Nic, Urbancode, Bench and Hultquist Copenhagen.
Former banker Sut-mung Cheung, who created the site with her brotherKwok-chee Cheung, said: “We see a good opportunity to build a strong online retail brand to fill a niche in a fragmented fashion accessories market.

“AccessoriesStudio.com has been created to provide a one-stop shop for fashion accessories, and will bring together hot accessories labels that are not all available on the UK high street.”
