New recruits join Damaged

Men’s denim label Damaged Jeans Brand has recruited new staff to cope with its growing account base and work on its expanded spring 09 collection.

Damaged Jeans Brand has grown to 250 accounts since its Christmas 2007 launch, and has taken on three new designers for spring 09 to handle the addition of T-shirts, sweatshirts and knitwear to its collection.

Priya Vekaria has joined from young fashion brand Henleys Project Delux to oversee clothing, while Phil Marsh, who previously worked at premium casualwear label Katharine Hamnett, will now be responsible for knitwear and denim. James Gibson has joined from jerseywear label Burn ‘n’ Violet to design T-shirt prints.

The brand has also appointed fashion agent Dereck Treacy to cover Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Prices start from £5 for clothing and £12 for denim.
