New show targeting European brands to debut in New York next year

A new trade show aimed at European brands is set to launch in New York to run alongside established events Moda and Coterie.

Organised by Business Journals Fashion Group, Edit will debut in February at the Javits Center in Manhattan and take place at the same time as Moda and Coterie, both of which are held at the same venue.

The organisers said Edit, which will be delivered by show director Alexandra d’Archangelo from Business Journals, would offer new ways to showcase upcoming and established designers in the US womenswear market.

The invitation-only event, which will take place between February 24 and 26, will be geared around enabling fashion buyers to do business efficiently with a series of features including a concierge service and multimedia resources to provide them with up to date information on current womenswear trends.
