New train station to boost visitors at Bicester Village

A new train station will open at Value Retail’s premium outlet Bicester Village in Oxfordshire on Monday October 26.

Two trains will run per hour along the route, which takes 46 minutes from London Marylebone. More than 300,000 visitors are expected to use it next year.

Chiltern Railway’s Birmingham Moor Street to London Marylebone service will continue to stop at Bicester North, with a shuttle service in place to Bicester Village.

The designer outlet village, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, attracts some 6.3 million people each year, of which an estimated 2.5 million are domestic shoppers.

It has more than 130 stores offering up to 60% off including Céline, Dior, Prada, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Versace, Anya Hindmarch and Chloé.
