Retailers Next and River Island are set to debut at The Oracle shopping complex in Reading, relocating from smaller sites on nearby Broad Street.
Next will move into a 29,500 sq ft unit at the shopping centre, which will house its full fashion, home and accessories offering.
River Island has signed for a 11,500 sq ft space, located on its Upper Mall.
The news also comes as Debenhams is partway through a comprehensive store refurbishment at the complex. Its first phase, which includes dining concepts Franco Manca and The Real Greek, completed last year.
Property company Hammerson invested in aesthetic improvements including full-height stores on its Upper and Lower Malls, and a full refurbishment of Holy Brook Mall and The Riverside.
Iain Mitchell, UK commercial director at Hammerson, said: “[Next and River Island] are strong brands and their decision to upsize is evidence of growing occupier demand for prime regional retail space.”
