Next buying manager exits after three months

Next’s buying manager for womenswear bottoms and outerwear, Katya Drummond, is leaving the business after less than three months in the role, in the latest shift in the Next womenswear team.

Drummond joined the retailer on 6 June, from Reiss where she was head of buying and merchandising for two years.

She previously worked at AllSaints for six years, joining as head of womenswear merchandising in March 2008 and working her way up to vice-president of merchandising and head of womenswear buying and merchandising.

It is not known if a replacement has been appointed.

In June Next appointed Jenny Davies as its new buying manager on tops. In February Drapers revealed that Next’s womenswear buying manager Alicia Lee was leaveing after 20 years.

Drapers has contacted Next for comment.
