Next to ditch auditors EY

Next is reportedly set to cut ties with accountancy firm EY after 20 years.

The high street firm is in talks with Deloitte, KPMG and PwC to replace EY, according to The Sunday Times. An announcement is expected next year.

It follows a ruling by the Competition and Markets Authority, which states that FTSE 350 companies must put their audit up for tender at least every 10 years.
