Nike vice president and chief financial officer to retire

Nike executive vice president and chief financial officer Donald Blair will retire in October after more than 15 years at the business.

He will be replaced by Andrew Campion, who will move into the role from August 1, 2015. Blair, who joined Nike 1999 and oversaw a tripling of its revenue, will remain with the business until October to help with the transition.

Campion is currently Nike’s senior vice president of finance, strategy and investor relations.

“Don has been chief financial officer for Nike during a tremendous period of growth for our company,” said Nike president and chief executive officer Mark Parker. “He has been instrumental in shaping our long-term financial strategy and helping us deliver significant value for our shareholders over the last 16 years.”
