Matthew Williamson chief executive Niki Scordi is leaving the company six months after taking on the role, Drapers understands.
Scordi joined the designer label last March as managing director, and was promoted to chief executive in October. The eponymous designer retained his position as president and creative director at that time, while Joseph Velosa became chairman.
The reasons for her departure are not yet clear and no one was available for comment.
Prior to joining Matthew Williamson, Scordi was chief executive of Nicole Farhi for four years but resigned in 2012, a few months after the business was taken over by Kelso Asset Management. Four days after her departure was announced, Nicole Farhi appointed replacement Francois Steiner.
Scordi was also managing director at Browns and retail and chief financial officer at Louis Vuitton for five years.
