Contemporary womenswear brand Noa Noa has appointed Andy Thompson to the newly created position of country manager for the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Thompson previously worked as managing director for six years for brand house Bestseller, which owns the Jack & Jones, Vila, Vera Moda, Only and Selected brands, and has also held roles at
footwear brand K-Swiss and young fashion label Duck And Cover. He will join the business on April 4.
He effectively replaces Jason Lynch, former managing director of Noa Noa in the UK, who left the business in January, just over 18 months after he joined.
Noa Noa also appointed Roland Jarlgaard as brand director last month. Jarlgaard most recently held the position of brand and strategy concept consultant at formal menswear brand Van Gils, which is part of the Waalwear Group, the men’s division of Dutch company Logo International. He will oversee the spring 12 collection and will focus on developing Noa Noa’s brand identity.
Noa Noa has 150 UK wholesale accounts, 19 UK franchise stores and two franchise stores in the Republic of Ireland.
