Notonthehighstreet poaches Asos technical director

Asos technical director Richard Zubrik will leave the etailer to join Notonthehighstreet as chief technology director.

Zubrik, who will join the retailer in January, will succeed interim chief technology officer Jack Bolles, who has been working with Notonthehighstreet since August 2018. Bolles will continue to work with Notonthehighstreet in the run-up to Christmas.

Zubrik has worked as director of technology at Asos since March 2017, after being promoted from head of ecommerce technology.

Before working at Asos, he spent seven years at Tesco.

Barrie Seidenberg, chief executive of Notonthehighstreet, said: “Richard’s background and experience delivering world-class customer experiences at organisations with similar ecommerce needs to ours at notonthehighstreet made him a stand-out candidate. Technology is a key driver for our future success. Richard demonstrated that he had the expertise and leadership ability, as well as the technical skills, to help us modernise our platform and ensure it reflects best-practice ecommerce. We’re looking forward to welcoming Richard to the team in the new year.”
